Phoenix Children's is in a contract dispute with one of the nation's largest health insurance companies. If an agreement is not reached with Bloomfield, Connecticut-based Cigna Corp. (NYSE: CI) by Feb. 1, 2023, Phoenix Children's will no longer be a contracted provider of Cigna. "As Arizona's only comprehensive pediatric health system, Phoenix Children's is open and accessible to all children in our community, including those insured, underinsured and uninsured," Phoenix Children's CEO Bob Meyer told the Phoenix Business Journal.
